Flash back to what were typical labels in the late 1950’s.
Donald was a pudgy man with impeccable manners, always well dressed and well informed regarding fine art. He was a florist by trade and also operated an Arthur Murray dance academy. He was referred to as a ladies man.
Bill was a carpenter foreman. Big strapping man who managed job sites. A gifted carpenter who enjoyed beer and BBQ and would not be described as having impeccable manners. He was a guy that enjoyed the company of his peers. He was referred to as a man’s man.
Labels were much clearer back then.
