I have been reading about how indigenous people honour their elders. This just makes so much sense to me. (Nothing to do with my age). I loved and respected my grandparents and I regret that I did not take more opportunity to learn from them.

My paternal grandfather was a woodsman, wise in the way of the forest, and he taught me a lot. My maternal grandfather was a farmer and I did not see the value of learning his ways. An opportunity lost which I will always regret.
